Good luck at Steel City!
We want to wish the best of luck to the WarhawkMX Racing Team and everyone else racing at Steel City this weekend at the final race of the 2009 MX Sports Motocross National Championship season.
Southwick Post Race Update: Congratulations Alyssa Fitch!

Sept. 3, 2009
We would like to congratulate all of team Warhawkmx on their finishing, and surviving Southwick. In very difficult conditions all of the team members persevered and did a great job. The nasty weather, bike problems and injuries made the race even more of a challenge for the team. We want to especially congratulate Alyssa Fitch on her great top ten finish! Alyssa finished 9th in moto 1 and an even more impressive 7th in moto 2 to earn an 8th overall, WTG Alyssa!
Unfortunately the excitement of the upcoming race at Southwick was dampened by the injury to WarhawkMX team leader Lindsey Scheltema. Lindsey broker her collar bone the Monday before Southwick while practicing for the event. Lindsey still soldiered on in the bad conditions at Southwick to be there and support the team in anyway she could. Heal up quickly Linds!
Jacqueline Strong had to fight bike problems in addition to the treacherous track. With only 1 lap of practice, and a lot of help from family and friends, she was able to make it to staging in time for moto 1. Jacqueline finished 12th in moto 1 and 11th in moto 2 for 10th overall.
Allison Vrba made her WMX Pro debut at Southwick and worked hard to earn a 14th overall in her first Professional race. Mother nature sure helped her by providing such lovely track conditions for her initial foray into WMX. Allison finished 17th in moto 1 and a strong 10th in moto 2 for 14th overall. Welcome to the big leagues Allison!
Nicole Madsen and Ayla Cabus both made the long trek from CA all the way to Moto-X 338 raceway to play in the mud. Nicole worked her way to 18th in moto 1 and improved to 17th in moto 2 for 18th overall. Ayla, making her one appearance of the year for team Warhawkmx had an altercation with the Southwick sand and fought her way to 19th in moto 1 and 20th in moto 2 for 20th overall.
250 Motocross class racer Kenny Day fought bike problems and unfortunately was not able to qualify but vows to fight back at Steel City.
More news from the team members about their experiences at Southwick will be posted on their individual profile pages. These pages can be reached from the Warhawkmx Team index here: 2009 Warhawkmx Team Rider Directory

Warhawk Powersports The Story Begins
Welcome to our new website. Warhawk Powersports is the new Powersports division of Motorsports Parts Corporation. Our Motorsports business has been around since 1989 and on the web since 2000. Our focus has always been on high performance and racing car parts, but that began to slowly change in 2004 when one of the owners gave motocross a try and was hooked. Then in the Fall of 2008 things really began to change.
We where blessed when David "Burrito" Villalpando joined our sales team. The next thing you know he has us working more on dirt bike and ATV projects than cars. Well, instead of fighting the change, the powers that be decided to make Burrito the manager of our new Powersports division. Warhawk Powersports is the result. Please check back often, we have several exciting announcements coming out very soon!
We will be transferring all data needed for this sites shopping cart to be functional ASAP. In the meantime please call or e-mail for assistance. We regret any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to improve our site..
